Does everyone go through phases? Did you have a "naughty book" phase where you kept writing smut? Or a romance period that was over the top? A damsel in distress stage when everything was cheesy and they always had a happy ending? Or a time when you wanted to kill everyone?

`Yes, yes, big time yes. But worse then that is I have loads of unfinished 'manuscripts' from each of my phases that I just can't seem to get back into.
I usually get stuck in a sci-fi phase actually but can never end anything. :/

`Sex and death. The characters are either getting married or dying. It is bugging me beyond belief. I'm trying to slowly change it up, but the pace is the speed of a snail. :(

`Im thinking that has much to do with the pace of writing. Finishing a book in a timeframe before hitting the next phase. I try to ignore the new ideas and focus them on creative ways to develop the characters, cause new ideas are always popping up, so theres no reason to temporarily ignore them.
